There are several modalities for addressing a problem with your use of alcohol and/or drugs. First, a look at the severity of the problem. If you would like a private, secure consult face to face online, contact me, see above. I am a free agent and an experienced addictions counselor. (See my resume.) I am not paid by any treatment center or treatment provider for this service or to refer you to them. Federal regulations (CFR-42) mandate your confidentiality and I will not disclose anything you tell me unless:
My fees are as follows:
I will assist you in admissions procedures if you decide you want to go to treatment and I will charge you for the time required to make phone calls, secure releases of information from you by fax, determine bed availability and date for admission. You may schedule time for support at any time you feel you want it. If you are a family member or friend of someone needing help, I will refer you to the nearest interventionist. A formal intervention takes time and planning and face to face work with family and friends. This is not something I will do online.
