Health Practitioners' Intervention Programs
Some states have
Health Practitioners' Intervention Programs
which provide
appropriate referral, a possible stay of disciplinary action,
monitoring and advocacy.
The Commonwealth of Virginia has such a
program,
as does Pennsylvania, Florida, Western Michigan, and others.
